Ash joined Yahoo! Inc. as one of its first engineers prior to its initial public offering in 1996. Over his fifteen year career at Yahoo, his roles included Chief Product Officer, SVP Platform Engineering and EVP Audience Platform Division..

He and his team architected, built and scaled the company’s first technology platforms which quickly grew to support hundreds of millions of users worldwide including My Yahoo!, Yahoo! Messenger, Yahoo Finance, Yahoo! Mail and others.

The realization at Yahoo that data would drive the creation of new technologies and businesses of unprecedented value is a key component of Morado Venture’s investment thesis and a critical factor in the formation of E12.

Mr. Patel received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, with honors, from King’s College, University of London
