Patrick Mcgill

Patrick is Partner at E12 Ventures and Morado Ventures. He played a key role in the original ideation for the E12 Venture model working closely with the Mitsui team and leveraging Morado's unique network. Morado’s LP’s consist of global Fortune 1000 corporations and a technology oriented private LP investor base. Within Morado, Patrick interfaces closely with the firms corporate LP’s and is heavily involved in fund raising, assisting the investment process and Morado’s portfolio company’s.

Over the years he had built a depth of expertise on innovation models and CVC programs as well as a deep network of global Fortune 1000 corporations. He is a Special Advisor to Dentsu Inc, Tokyo assisting them with strategic partnerships and potential investment opportunities. As Managing Partner, LM250 Digital, Patrick successfully advised global corporations on the planning and launch of their CVC programs. Clients included : DoCoMo Capital, Telefonica CVC, Best Buy innovative Digital Media Fund and innovation projects for Canon and Volkswagen Group.  


In addition to Morado during 2019, Patrick assisted the Storm Ventures team creating a new corporate program as part of their new Storm VI, $120M fund. Storm Ventures is a highly successful Series A Enterprise focused venture fund with deep Go-to-Market expertise. Previously he was the Corporate Venture Partner for www.fusecapital.com. Earlier in his career, Patrick was VP Corporate Development at VeriFone and was heavily involved in the firms $1.2BN acquisition by Hewlett Packard.
